How to install Photo Mechanic 4 on Mac OS X

Click on the Photo Mechanic download link to begin installation, the installer should run automatically after the download finishes. If the installer does not run automatically, simply double-click the downloaded disk image file (PhotoMechanic.dmg) to mount the disk image on your desktop. If you receive a warning message that "Photo Mechanic.dmg" contains an application, please click the Continue button to open the license agreement.

Note: All files will downloaded to your desktop by default unless you've specified a download location in your web browser's preferences.

After reading the license agreement, you must click Agree in order to continue installing Photo Mechanic. After agreeing to the software license, the Installation dialog will appear:

Now open your Applications folder located in your Macintosh hard drive and drag Photo Mechanic from the Installation window to the Applications folder. A copy progress dialog will appear for a few seconds. After the copy process is complete, select Photo Mechanic in the Applications folder and drag it to the Dock to make a shortcut.

Click on the Photo Mechanic icon in the Dock to launch the application. Now click on the Register button and enter the Name/Company (Department if any) and Password we provided at the time of purchase. Make sure you're entering the information exactly as shown in the E-mail, or on a certificate provided with the software. Click Register once more to finalize the registration process.
